About Me

Education & College Experience

I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from California State University, Bakersfield. During my studies, I learned to combine theory with hands-on development, which shaped my passion for building clean, user-friendly, and efficient web applications. In parallel with my academics, I was also a student-athlete, competing at the NCAA Division I level in swimming.

Swimming Career

Swimming has been a big part of my life. I competed professionally for Croatia and qualified for three semifinals at the European Championships, setting multiple national records. At California State University, I broke several school records as part of the swimming team. My athletic career taught me discipline, focus, time management, and how to perform under pressure—qualities that have directly benefited my professional career as a developer.

Professional Experience

I’ve worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at Millini Olive Oil Company, where I built a full-featured eCommerce platform from scratch. I implemented a responsive UI, secure user authentication, and integrated Stripe for payments. This project greatly improved the company's online presence and boosted sales. I enjoy solving problems, building scalable applications, and contributing to projects that deliver real value.

Personal Virtues & Qualities

One of my greatest strengths is adaptability. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy learning new technologies. When I encounter challenges or new technologies, I take initiative to dive into documentation, experiment through hands-on projects, and quickly apply new skills. I am a proactive problem-solver, team player, and always open to feedback. My growth mindset drives me to continuously improve and take on new challenges.
